Susanne Cutshall, DNP, APRN, CNS, APHN-BC, HWNC-BC, NBC-HWC is a certified adult health clinical nurse specialist with a specialty focus in Integrative Health and Integrative Nursing. She has a post graduate certificate in complementary therapies and healing practices from the University of Minnesota and is certified as an Advanced Practice Holistic Nurse and Nurse Coach by the American Holistic Nurses Association. She is nationally certified in Health and Wellness Coaching by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. She has training in mind body therapies and several other modalities including acupressure, aromatherapy, biofeedback, Reiki and Healing Touch. She also has training as a whole health educator and surgery coach. Susanne is currently working as an Integrative Health Specialist in the Department of General Internal Medicine in the section of Integrative Medicine and Health. Susanne is trained in the Mayo Stress Management and Resilience program and sees patient for consultations for stress management and general Integrative Medicine consultations in the clinic and hospital setting. She has had the opportunity to conduct research and quality improvement programs that have been presented and published and include topics of massage therapy, acupuncture, ambient music, biofeedback, yoga, nurse stress and health behaviors and resilience training with newly hired nurses. She is a work site wellness champion for the Mayo Clinic Dan Abrahams Healthy Living Center work site well-being program and is member of the General Internal Medicine Well-being Committee. She is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Medicine with the Mayo College of Medical. She is passionate about holistic and integrative nursing and integrative health practices and believes that these models of care can be instrumental in transforming our current health care trends.
