Lora Briese, FNP
Over the past 19 years, my love of nursing and patient care has taken me on a wonderful and fulfilling journey.
My nursing career has included inpatient cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary, home hospice, and the last 6 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Through this time, I have become a strong believer in and advocate for complementary medicine and alternative modalities of treatment.
Holistic care, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit has always been my passion. I have become a perpetual student, continually discovering new treatment approaches.
My educational background includes a degree in Massage Therapy and studies of Reiki energy healing. Most recently, I have started exploring and utilizing herbal medicine, as well as completing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Transcultural Nursing.
It is difficult to find time for holistic evaluation in a traditional medical environment. I am excited to practice at Hermitage Farm, integrating complementary and alternative treatments options for acute and chronic conditions, such as anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression, back pain, migraine, hypertension, sinus and respiratory illnesses.
Utilizing modalities such as meditation, massage, herbalism, and energy medicine can help lead you on the path of wellness. Every person has the power to heal themselves, and I look forward to walking with you, helping to guide, learn from and with you, on the journey of healing.
“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
